Rights 4U 2016

The Office of the Commissioner for Children is currently organising its annual Rights 4U initaitive. This is a 3 day live-in which brings together young people currently in forms 3 and 4 with the aim of creating awareness about their rights which come with responsibilities towards themselves and others.

This is a unique opportunity for young people to engage with peers and voice their opinions and concerns. They will also have the opportunity to meet the Commissioner for Children and make recommendations on issues that affect their life. 

The live-in consists of an interactive programme and includes various fun activities such as treasure hunts, games, going to the beach etc...This year, two live-ins will be organised, one in Gozo between the 4th and the 6th of August and one in Malta between the 1st and the 3rd of September. Young people together with their friends are free to apply for any one of the live-ins. Applicants are required to make a small contribution of €43 which is all inclusive. Transport, both for Gozo and Malta, will also be provided. Limited sponsorships are available for those who cannot pay.
